Global Classroom Collaboration:
Asia Society: The Asia Society is dedicated to promoting understanding and collaborative partnerships between people, educators, and leaders in Asia and the United States.
ConnectAllSchools: The goal of Connect All Schools is to connect all school in the US to another school in the world by 2016. Students are provided the opportunity to be exposed to another cultures and teachers are given the chance to collaborate with other teachers.
ePals: ePals allows classrooms to participate in a virtual exchange in a safe environment. The site also hosts ideas for project based activities and lessons.
Flat Classroom Project: Flat Classroom Project is a global initiative focused on joining middle and high school students. A variety of Web 2.0 tools are used to make communication easier. Real world situations studied are based on 'The World is Flat' by Thomas Friedman.
Global Nomads Group: Global Nomads Group emphasizes international education and peace education. The program connects US students to others across the world in semester or year-long exchanges using social networking, webcasting, and videoconferencing.
Primary Source: Primary Source is an excellent resource for educators interested in incorporating global content into their curriculum. Educators have access to seminars, book club readings, and study tours across the globe.
